First Baptist Church has been part of the Eufaula community for since 1891.  For over 117 years we have served the people of Eufaula and McIntosh county.  Many things have changed in 117 years, but the Church's great commission to share Jesus with our community and world, has never changed.  For more information about the minisitries of our Church, please look to the left for a directory.

First Baptist has been making an eternal difference for generations in our community and God is still using our church to make Himself known.  We believe that Bible is our authority and guide, and we believe the Bible as God's true and inspired Word.  We believe we exist to lead people to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, to disciple believers, and to impact the world.

Simply put, we exist to Love God, Love People and to Serve the World. 

Love God - By making worship exciting, genuine,and engaging, we seek to make God known, encourage and uplift the believer, and help people connect to God in a powerful way. Worship is a vital part of the Christian experience.  God is big. Big enough to love and accept us, to nurture and encourage us.  God is big enough to include us, not matter who we are, or where we've been.  Worship is a way of loving God back.

Love People - By accepting and loving people from all backgrounds, we honor God and follow the leadings of the Holy Spirit.  Our church cares about people and wants to serve them.  PEOPLE MATTER!  Our church includes people from wide variety of backgrounds, ages, races and experiences  One thing we do have in common is a passion to love people, like God loves us.

Serve the World - We have  a great commission to share Jesus in our local mission field and any other place in the world God chooses to use us.  We serve the world whether it is though Operation Christmas Child, through God's Helping Hands ( a local ministry to help people in need), through mission trips, or through supporting missions through the Southern Baptist Cooperative Program.  Our church is engaged in our community and world, in the name of Jesus.

First Baptist Church is part of and partners with the Southern Baptist Convention and the Baptist General Convention of Oklahoma.  We support both the SBC and BGCO with our church giving and special offerings.  We also work closely with God's Helping Hands in Eufaula.
